We are excited to announce that we will be hosting two missions trips to Guatemala in the coming year. Both trips will be travelling to work alongside Jesus Viene Church in San Raymundo to help with an expansion of Gracia de Dios Church in Chivoc. This 15 year partnership has evolved into one of close family ties and we are very excited to return to Guatemala to serve and love our brothers and sisters.
WHEN: 7:00pm on Thursday, May 8
LOCATION: Creekside Room

Cochrane Alliance Church has a long-standing partnership with Jesus Viene Alliance Church and Pastor Victor in San Raymundo, Guatemala that began in 2010. The church and its associated school are not only focused on the education of the children but also on the strengthening of family stability within the community. Our original project, the building of the school, was completed when the school opened in 2015. In February 2025, the youth missions trip began working with Gracia de Dios Church and Pastor Victoriano to expand their current church building.
Gracia de Dios Church is dedicated to building a new building. They have already created plans for what they hope will eventually be a four-story building that includes a parking lot, sanctuary, classrooms, and an office and living space for the pastor. Their first step is to build new concrete walls around the outside of their current building. Once this is complete, they will deconstruct the tin structure and add a more permanent roof. This will then be used as the sanctuary until they can raise funds for a second story. When the second story is complete, they will be able to use the bottom floor for parking and the top floor as the sanctuary. Eventually, they would then add the top two floors. The building of the main walls for the first floor will cost $55,000 but the church has already raised enough money to buy supplies for the footings. Teams from Cochrane will continue staying at Pastor Victor's house while working on projects with Gracia de Dios Church alongside brothers and sisters from Jesus Viene.
