Child Dedication is a public ceremony where Christian parents prayerfully invite God to work in their child's life and state their intention to raise their child to know and love Jesus. As Christians, we choose to dedicate our children to acknowledge that they are a gift from God and to entrust the gift to the Giver. It is also an opportunity to ask God to draw our child to Jesus and publicly renew our own personal commitment to Christ as individuals and parents.
