What I do at the church
My primary role is to preach and teach through scripture and to clearly communicate the Gospel in a way that is clear and applicable to our lives. Another area of responsibility is to support the staff of the church by being a resource for them and giving some direction and oversight. I also have the privilege of prayerfully seeking the plans Jesus has for His church together with the Board of Elders to see Cochrane Alliance continue doing the work of the Kingdom locally and globally.
How long have I worked at Cochrane Alliance Church?
I began this role February 1, 2022.
A little about my family
I have been married to Laurie Rushinka since 2011 and we have three amazing children: Ryan, Ava and Connor. Our kids are still young which makes for a busy and, sometimes, chaotic, household. We love spending time with friends and getting outside. Laurie and I enjoy board games and we are starting to see our kids gain some interest in games as well so family game nights might become more of a regular occurrence as the kids get older.
One thing most people don’t know about me
I love music and I am always looking to find new artists/musicians I have not heard yet. If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me your favorites, any genre.
