What I do at the church
I have the great privilege of leading our worship ministry, which includes leading worship on Sundays, providing care and support to our leaders, and helping to create a culture of worship at Cochrane Alliance Church. I work with our staff and leaders to create opportunities for people to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and become more like him (discipleship). You’ll also find me preaching about once a month on Sundays.
How long have I worked at Cochrane Alliance Church?
Since April 2024.
A little about my family
I am married to Kjerstie and we have two young daughters, Lucy and Annabella. Kjerstie and I love to go for walks, watch movies, eat good food, and explore beautiful places. Lucy loves coloring, singing, being silly, and going on “adventures”, which usually just means going to the grocery store and singing loudly in the shopping cart. Annabella loves laughing, being outside, and eating hummus by the spoonful (not recommended).
One thing most people don’t know about me
As a kid, my dream was to be play-by-play broadcaster on Hockey Night in Canada. I would memorize the players numbers, mute the TV and “commentate” the games alone in the basement. Clearly I was an extremely cool kid.
A few of my favorite things
I love cooking and eating good food! I haven’t met an international cuisine I haven’t liked and am particularly into Cajun, Korean, and Mexican food these days. I love Lord of the Rings, learning new things, being silly with my family, and watching/playing sports. GO OILERS!
