Large Group

Youth Large Group

Students in Grades 6 - 12 are invited to meet as a large group the first 2 Wednesdays of the month at the church from 7 pm-8:30 pm. The evening will be a time filled with games, activities, teaching, and relationship-building as we pursue Jesus together.

After the message each night, students will have the opportunity to choose to engage with deeper conversations, and invited to participate/form a Small Group if they have not done so already.

WHY

In the past, the default has been to place all students into "small" groups and allow them some time on Wednesday evenings to meet, discuss the message, and/or a study of their choosing. We found that though some students enjoyed this time, there were many that were not interested in participating in deeper discussions about life, faith, and God, and therefore were disruptive to the group. Therefore, we have made a shift so that the small group format is no longer the default, and students will no longer be assigned to small groups during Youth Large Group
