Youth Small Groups

Small groups exist to foster life-changing relationships that are relevant and accessible to youth. They provide the context for youth to grow deeper in their relationship with God, experience spiritual formation, and live on mission for the Kingdom of God.

WHO

Students who are choosing to be intentionally discipled within a community of believers

WHAT

Groups of 3-5 students and a leader/mentor, connecting on a weekly basis. Connecting can look like a lot of different things: meeting together for bible study, attending church/youth large group together, sharing a meal, volunteering, YouVersion Bible Reading Plan.

WHEN & WHERE

Whatever time & location that works best for the small group and the rhythems of their life.

For example: They can meet every Wednesday evenings at the church. They can participate in Large Group on the first 2 Wednesdays of the month and meet as a small group afterwards, and on the "off" weeks can continue to meet at the Church

Other groups may choose to meet in the home of one of the students or the leader on an alternative night.

This is a collaborative process between students, parents, and leaders

WHY

The Vision of Cochrane Alliance Youth is To see students become resilient, faithful disciples who live a vibrant life in the Spirit in the face of cultural coersion. We believe the best way to equip and empower our students is give them the opportunity to practice prioritizing their spiritual journey as they matrue through adolescence and into adulthood.
